Blog Issue #13: 17th August 2010

Wow! What a win on Sunday against the Wigan team at the DW Stadium. We were very pleased with the performance and how we played and we got the win, which is something we really wanted. Also, it delays Wigan lifting the league leaders’ shield, which is good.

RL FACTOR

Huddersfield Giants second row man Jahmal Lolesi was crowned winner of The RL Factor, the opening event of Eorl Crabtree’s Testimonial at Huddersfield Town Hall on Tuesday 1st December.

A crowd of nearly 600 were enthralled by the two-and-half hour show, with performances from Giants stars Eorl, Luke Robinson, Kevin Brown, Andy Raleigh, former players Stanley Gene and Jeff Wittenburg, plus former Man of Steel Mick Morgan.

The Fans RL Factor was won by Giants supporters Ashley Hirst.

The show was conceived and hosted by Johnny Paterson, the well known Hull-based entertainer.
