Wow! What a win on Sunday against the Wigan team at the DW Stadium. We were very pleased with the performance and how we played and we got the win, which is something we really wanted. Also, it delays Wigan lifting the league leaders’ shield, which is good.

EORL CRABTREE’S RL FACTOR

The judging panel has been announced for Eorl Crabtree’s Testimonial opening event, The RL Factor, at Huddersfield Town Hall next Tuesday, 1st December.

Assessing the vocal prowess of a host of Giants players and supporters in Rugby League’s version of television’s The X Factor will be:

Nathan Brown, Huddersfield Giants Head Coach and Super League Coach of the Year 2009
Steve Ganson, the UK’s top referee
Amy Burrow, a member of Project A, the Yorkshire band who progressed to the last 24 in this year’s X Factor show on ITV.

The galaxy of songsters includes a Huddersfield Giants contingent of Eorl Crabtree, celebrating 10 years loyal and dedicated service to his hometown club, Andy Raleigh, Kev Brown, Luke Robinson, Jamahl Lolesi, former Huddersfield players Stanley Gene and Jeff Wittenburg and ex-England star of the Rugby League Roadshows Mick Morgan.

The first half of the show will feature Giants supporters.

Tickets are priced £12.50 for all parts of the auditorium, with sales currently nearing the 500 mark.

Admission can also be obtained on the night at the Town Hall, The RL Factor show kicking off at 7.30pm.
