Wow! What a win on Sunday against the Wigan team at the DW Stadium. We were very pleased with the performance and how we played and we got the win, which is something we really wanted. Also, it delays Wigan lifting the league leaders’ shield, which is good.

SPORTSMAN’S DINNER

England Rugby League Captain Jamie Peacock is putting himself in the spotlight in a no-holds-barred question and answer session in aid of Eorl Crabtree’s Testimonial.

The Leeds Rhinos and ex-Bradford Bulls packman is the special guest at a Sportsman’s Dinner at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, Huddersfield, on Tuesday 23rd February 2010.

The guest list will also include a “Pick of the Props” with invitations being extended to Eorl’s front row rivals across Super League.

Rounding off the evening, hosted by David Howes, will be top comedian Gary Skyner.

Eorl explained: “While we are receiving great support from the corporate sector, we also want the fan to enjoy the evening. Thus bookings can be made for any size of party eg two, four or six, who will be seated on tables of 10.

“Also, in this current economic climate, we have kept the ticket price at a reasonable level to allow supporters of myself and the Club to join in our Testimonial celebrations.”
