Wow! What a win on Sunday against the Wigan team at the DW Stadium. We were very pleased with the performance and how we played and we got the win, which is something we really wanted. Also, it delays Wigan lifting the league leaders’ shield, which is good.

SPORTSMAN'S DINNER...

Pick of the Props is the theme for Eorl Crabtree’s Testimonial Sportsman’s Dinner next month with star guests being fellow England Rugby League stars Jamie Peacock, Adrian Morley (pictured, right), James Graham and Garreth Carvell.

England skipper Peacock will be put in the spotlight with a special question and answer session.

Eorl’s all-male dinner will be staged at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, Huddersfield on Tuesday 23rd February.

The England prop, who became a regular in the Test side during last autumn’s Four Nations tournament, when England were runners-up to Australia in the Final, explained: “Representing England at Test level was a remarkable experience and we want to carry the international theme into my first Testimonial dinner. The five of us will be going all out to disprove the reputation that prop forwards have limited intelligence!”

Also on duty will be star comedian Gary Skyner and compere David Howes.

Bookings can be made for any size of party eg two, four, six etc.
